Work in progress

It was my creative writing group this morning.

The usual format is a given topic a few weeks in advance. On the allocated say we read out that piece of work to the group. It is amazing the different results you get from ten people writing on the same subject.

Sometimes there is a lot of discussion, sometimes there are fewer present or less discussion and we have time to spare.

One exercise we do if there is spare time is a 'drabble'. A topic is chosen very randomly and you have just a few minutes to write a very short story on the subject and read it out. They can bevrefined at home later if you choose.

The picture is of my scribblings during the drabble today.

In the background is a hint of how pieces are usually written.
