Thank you for the generous comments, stars and hearts for yesterdays illusive green 'pecker.
I thought it appropriate to add his cousin today, the great spotted version.
Lesley had some vouchers for Chatsworth Farm shop so we had trip up there this afternoon, with lunch in Baslow of course (queue too long at CFS). We then went up to a car park I had been told about in an area managed in partnership by the Peak National Park, NT and RSPB and enjoyed a large variety of birds. As you can see in the shots of the woody, blue tit and tree creeper they are all ringed. However the red category yellowhammer isn't.
