Crazy Dippers

Well it was about 9 degrees the last time I swam in the Wharfe, today was an all time low for our Friday swimmers at a chilly 2.3 degrees. With a wetsuit and a sneaky extra layer on my top half most of me felt ok, but it was a short dip for us all because you soon feel it in your hand, and then you can't feel your hands...

The trick is to have enough feeling that you can get changed after!

Pots of tea, hot chocolate, a second breakfast and a glowing fire an we were soon warm again.

A quick trip to Aldi, snug in my dryrobe, then home for a few jobs and tea and cake at mine.

Work this evening then the rest of the weekend off.
