Dusky Dolphins in the Beagle Channel
Official figures for yesterday's weather: it was a force 9 gale with 45 knot winds and 11 metre waves. It calmed down about 2am and we were in the Beagle Channel again when I woke at 5am this morning. A beautiful calm sunny afternoon and we should be in Ushuaia by 6pm today. Lots of sea birds in the channel: black-browed albatross, Chilean skuas, shags and Magellanic penguins. We disembark tomorrow morning. Today's blip is of some Dusky Dolphins in the channel.
