Winter Irises

It's very early for irises in my part of the world so when I bought these two days ago, I knew that they had been forced. But aren't they wonderful? There just had to be a photo. I have found them so uplifting when working in the kitchen, where I've placed them on the windowsill. And they've emerged fully.

I borrowed the gold coloured ceramic pot from Aziz at lunch time to pose with them. Must be sure to take the pot back. I keep borrowing stuff which I haven't returned.

I've finished doing the books. This weekend, I MUST make the effort to log into Government Gateway to do my self assessment. I keep putting it off and there's now less than two weeks to the deadline.

Quiz night at Bowls Club tonight. The quizmaster has given me to understand that his quizzes are tricky.
