Almost over

Another very long day of dealing with end of semester student grades, and a couple of meetings.  Last day tomorrow before the two week break. The photo is a tuning peg on my friend's tanbur that is parked between our desks - the bokeh is the garden behind as seen through window. Sort of suitable for Abstract Thursday "shapes" as hosted by Ingeborg. 

The Tambur is a fretted string instrument of Turkey and the former lands of the Ottoman Empire. Like the ney, the armudi kemençe and the kudüm, it constitutes one of the four instruments of the basic quartet of Turkish classical music. (Wikipedia)
