Shapes in the snow...

...quite a covering in Tynemouth this morning...
We got up pretty early ( for us ) so that Roy could have a run and I could join the Nordic Walking group on the Longsands. By the time we'd had our porridge and donned the trakkies, lo and behold the first snowflakes were flying past the window in the wind. Roy, undeterred, went off for his run before it started to settle - I wimped out...
It was quite a blizzard by the time he got back, but it soon stopped sufficiently for us to head round the corner for brunch before setting off for home via a drop-in on my sister. She wasn't too well over Christmas, but I'm pleased to say she's starting to feel better now ;)
