Winter arrives

These poor souls popped their heads up only yesterday: just in time for the wintery showers that arrived overnight into today. Luckily, I suspect snowdrops know what they are doing and they will be fine.

Less so today's commuters who faced hour-long delays or more getting to work, as a result of the 4-5 millimetres of hail and snow that carpeted the roads. When will we ever learn?
