Win some lose some - life's like that

In the summer I had up to 19 goldfinches visiting my top floor flat in the centre of the city. We are now down to about 6 and I miss their chattering but not their mess at the niger seed feeders. Two succumbed on my terrace but here is one in his prime and the very first capture
