Abstract Thursday: Shapes

I was pondering what to photograph for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge of "Shapes" when it started snowing this morning. It only lasted about an hour, and we only had about an inch but it gave me the chance to take a close-up of the snowflakes. They were rapidly turning to ice but you can still see some bits of snowflake shapes here in amongst the ice-crystal shapes. It has, of course, suffered a degree of Photoshop abuse.

It's worth looking large to see the variety of shapes.
