It good to be away, but it's always good to be home again too. Home to familiar things like bread without loads of sugar, vegies in the garden ( a bit wild after 3 weeks of neglect), the fresh air and warmth of summer, tuis in the pohutukawa trees (even though the flowers have finished), and our resident pair of kingfishers .. that look as though they may have successfully raised a couple of chicks this season.
