Cardinal at the feeder

Not the greatest shot, but all I got today.Today was a little warmer - we made it above freezing, so some of the snow started to melt, but it remained totally overcast all day. We both went out late morning to swim at the “Y”, and on the way back stopped to pick up more bird feed. The birds have occasionally been coming by the empty feeders, as if to say “where’s our food”?! It didn’t take them long to find it, so I snapped a picture of the lovely male cardinal, but it was through the window, and the light was poor, so the focus isn’t sharp. We had several visitors - numerous male and female cardinals, blue jays, woodpeckers, chickadees and more. I always love the look of cardinals against the snow. Seeing the forecast for the next week or so, we’ve decided we came back from Florida too soon, with more snow forecast for Saturday, and then some bitterly cold temperatures coming up next week!
