I'm Waiting for the Man
Yup, that'll be me.
We had a lot of work to do on Jess a year ago, getting her fur tidied up... it took a few months and wasn't without pain for all of us. We found that one end of the kitchen table was the best place to do this and each session began with the usual petting and scratching under her chin before bringing the brushes and combs in, which we could only do for so long.
But over that time, it's her favourite place. If it looks like we are heading into the kitchen, she will dash through and jump up there and wait for us. Unlike Molly, she craves the attention so we feel guilty when the trip to the kitchen is short, but I try to give her something.
I blipped her just the other day on her table resting on a brush. I'm always playing catch up with her brushing but at least an unexpected scratch is rare and she'll rather walk away instead... which means another session is required. Aye... well, she's worth it :-)
