5.6C. A grey day. Not quite so cold.

Apothecary7's day off. Dundee. M&S. Cake :-)

After coffee with cake (who had carrot and who had sponge?) we went round to City Quay to hunt for blips. Not the dockside today, but the side where the businesses are in the old dock sheds. Various pictures were taken. Then, as I crossed back to where I had parked the car, I looked over the wall to where the railway line runs and saw this sign. I am curious as to who is meant to see it and read it given that it is at the side of the tracks and faces neither Northbound or Southbound trains !

The arm which reads "level" points in the direction of Aberdeen.
The sloping arm which reads "1 in 60" points to the tunnel which runs under the streets of Dundee near the waterfront to the station.

After lunch we walked with Maeve the Deerhound down into Carnoustie and along the High Street. We bought Christmas stamps.

Later there will be Chardonnay with dinner :-)
