Sunshine on a rainy day

I have got many many recipe books. I have barely followed a recipe for anything in a long time, instead standing in the kitchen chucking things into dishes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. This year I have been preparing all my meals exclusively from recipes- turns out they really know what they are talking about those cook book people. I’ve had some really tasty food!!

This was the start of lunch which was leftovers from last nights dinner. Bloody lovely it was.
