Doorway to nothing

Another gloomy day - at least it wasn't too wet here in Alviso, about the furthest south you can get on San Francisco Bay They've gone to a lot of trouble setting up this park for enjoying the wildlife without trampling the marshes. There were lots of happy birds going about their business - and chattering loudly every time a harrier or a kite passed over. Next I have to figure out if there is a bike route from here to the eastern shore.
