BEAT THE HEAT.....

..... called by the dam on the way home midday , and although it was still "warming up" (37 degC) all of the birdlife were out of the water and in the shade on the turf. They are smart no shade in the water!

Also found a pair of young Eurasian Coot finding their way back to Mum! How do you like the BIG feet!!

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE and I promise not to go on about the heat, BUT it is forecast to change on Saturday after a predicted 44 degC - so counting down!
