David and Goliath?

When Nik’s Dad told us tonight’s basketball game was going to be a David and Goliath game with the opposing high school team rated by some poll or other “10th in the nation”, I wasn’t sure what we’d be seeing.   But we needed to see it.    Nik (#20) is 6’4”.  Do you get the idea?   It was like the men against the boys.   They were mostly all seniors and they were really tough… I think the score was 87- 32. (could have been worse) 
Oh well they don’t have to play them again and it’s pretty good and new experience for Nik, who seems OK  with it...  Not nearly a good photo but liked that the cheerleaders were decorating the sideline.

If I didn’t want to record this game, (we'll miss the next couple..). I would have posted the pinkness on the playground of the nearby school..this is the oldest school structure in the city, built in 1892.  I’m very fond of it..and love to walk by..our boys went here in the 70s.
