Mamod Traction Engine

I'm continuing to take it day by day as far as blipping is concerned, and also trying for some variety. I can just about cope with taking a photo today, but the thought of one a day for the next year is beyond me!

I thought I'd try out the "miniature" setting on my camera today, and hunted through the loft for some suitable toys. Alas, daylight was running out so I grabbed this old Mamod Traction Engine. It was a Christmas present from my parents in the late 1960's and saw lots of use, mostly in the garage to cover the smell of an illicit Woodbine!

The "miniature" setting at least disguises just how battered it is now looking.
