Golden Sapphire
Time is running out. If I don't make (what for me has become) a supreme mental effort and post a blip .. ANY blip ... I probably will never blip again. I figure that three quarters of the battle will be this first posting. Then let's hope I can get back into the routine.
I am approaching seven years worth of blips and so it would be a shame to fall face first in the mud before I reach that mark at least ... so here goes. As suggested, the picture itself doesn't mean much ... just my dear old Seiko "gold sapphire" watch, reflecting some nice light from the computer screen. As many of you know I am fond of me watches.
I do apologise. I have been missing in action these past two months and have barely touched a camera. The desire to catch up with me blip mates is what motivates me at this stage and so I hope to visit your journals very soon.
During my sabbatical, some of you kindly asked after me and I am so pleased that you have. I thank you very much and apologise for not having gotten back to you earlier. Norma and I are well. The family is well but the period before Christmas was rather more hectic than I had planned for and I find myself involved in a certain management activity for the first time in many years with a lot of people depending on me. I offered a partial explanation in the comments of my last blip if anyone is interested.
Anyway. Enough about me. Let's get on with the show. See you again, tomorrow.
