Great Egret - 7

After staying in St Anne's for a couple of days we took a detour to Leighton Moss on the way home. It is our first visit here and we had a great time seeing a few birds we hadn't seen before including marsh harrier and this great egret. Unfortunately the light wasn't too good so most of the photos were too grainy and not the best quality. 

At the end of the day we also caught the impressive murmuration of starlings, we were a bit too far away really but I have included a picture as an extra where they seemed to have formed the shape of a bird.
