Police Presence...

Is there something big happening in Edinburgh today?

Whilst heading out for lunch today I noticed 3, count 'em, 3 pairs of policemen out on the beat. That's 6 policemen. I don't think I'd seen that many all of last year.

It was enough for me to notice this afternoon but what really started me thinking about it and recording it here was that I passed another pair and a large mobile CCTV van.

Maybe Edinburgh has been the subject of some sort of threat...
