Taking a step up

I have a question for you all: My blip app (android) has stopped reseting the notification * to zero when I've viewed all my notifications. It always goes back to 11. I've tried stopping the app, logging out, resetting the app & cache. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas about how to reset it?
