Chase!

Sister left with Milkshake this morning - I shed a few tears but know she will be much happier living with her and without Oscar. 
The Exiles ex-partner called in to fix my leaking toilet - he's a plumber by trade, now a postman in France. Unfortunatly nothing to be done unless the whole system was taken apart so I will just put up with the persistent trickle into the toilet! We then took the dogs for a walk. This was a little stressful as he finds being around people hard as he lives  in the country and rarely sees a soul and Cotehele was busy. Orpheus is not good at recall - he and Ginger can be lost for a couple of hours chasing deer and wild boar in France! This caused a problem when meeting other dogs - well with some stuffy owners anyway! I think the sight of the three of them was rather startling even before they went snuffling round other dogs! This stressed him even more! I think I did very well maintaining my equanimity so yay me! 
Sister messaged me to say Milkshake had explored all the rooms and had spent the afternoon sitting on her lap sleeping and purring! Yay Milkshake!
