Bulbs, Shoots and Leaves

Alarmingly the bulbs that I planted (and covered with mesh to stop the squirrels getting them) have started to grow.  We are forecast a very cold snap at the end of the week so I don't know if they'll now survive.

Annoyingly whilst photographing them I sadly attracted another threat (see extra).
