Seems like my plan to become a teacher has gone down the drain.
They ask me that in addition to the teaching diploma courses that I wanted to do (60 credit points) I need to more or less study biology and chemistry new (96 credit points!!!). Seems that having a doctorate degree in biochemistry is not sufficient. As an example it seems that having worked as a research scientist in the field of virology for two years is not sufficient for knowing about virology and I am supposed to do the stupid university courses again.
I do not have the time and money to spend 5 years studying again without the possibility to have any side income.
I could go back to Germany for one year where they will pay me to get the additional qualifications, but I do not want to leave all my life behind, and Switzerland being Switzerland I reckon they wouldn't accept my degree anyway.
So there I am, back to the beginning.
