Goodbye old friend

When I got back from my WI meeting last night, I managed to get my scarf trapped in the zip of my coat :-(
In the resulting effort to free the scarf, the zip was broken and the material was cut. It had been my winter coat for several years and it was in good condition and I am sad about it. The scarf survived....
I am now looking for a new jacket.
