Who were Meal Ticket?

Having acquired a record player I got all my albums from the garage to sort through. Lots of old favourites, And among them this one Meal Ticket. I don’t remember them, buying this or ever playing it.
Last night I caught up with a documentary- Donovan and the Beatles in India. The writer Jez Butterworth was playing Hurdy Gurdy man on a record player for inspiration. Confidently I went to get it from my collection. There are two albums but no Hurdy Gurdy Man
