Welcome ......

..... gift.
This was a Christmas gift and so lovely as I do like a biscuit and cheese but sweet biscuits just don't float my boat. As you can see they've not been opened yet but no doubt they will be soon.
Weather is dry today but I'm still chilly ( then I feel the cold) but with temperatures recorded from Australia of 40/50%c I think I'll be satisfied with this for the moment!!
The Rev is being licensed as Lead Chaplin at the local hospital tonight , so that should be an enjoyable service. I'm so pleased for him and the family , well done sir.
Friends do lovely things , like one who took me to the station before the new year. She had a traffic offence ticket for her trouble!!
Why oh why don't the power that be think harder when they put obstacles in the way of the motorist. Yes , restrictions are needed in some places but I'm sure there should be "trial" periods before most restrictions are put into place.
