The trouble with night images is that you don't publish your blip until late. And you have to have a stand by, in case the sky doesn't work the way it should (at the moment, I have a thistle stand by ready every day, as I go and take a photo of my thistle plant's development each day - of dear, I sound a bit OCD doing that!)
Still learning about this night time photography lark - trying to capture some movement in the clouds, though I'm not sure how well it worked out... I'm afraid the view is always likely to be the same - the one from my deck! And do not get me started on those three trees in the middle, or I will rant and rave for some time...
The other problem with this sort of photography is the mosquito bites. I also have "macro photographers knee complaint" - my knees are covered in bites and I suspect ants, from kneeling in the grass. We do suffer for our art.
