Home time

5am on the morning of departure and it has dumped a good couple of inches of snow overnight already. Good news at least for my folks who are out here in a week.

Journey down to Chambery Airport was "interesting" with several people being sick due to the winding roads and lack of reference points due to the darkness and snow.

Chambery then it's usual chaotic self and 2 hrs spent queuing for one check or another (why do you need to keep 4 check-in desks open for 3 parties who are late for their flight when there's 100+ people queued up at a single desk for another flight?)

Anyway, all home, safe and well by 3pm and an early night for all.
