The old boxer

Easy choice for my 100th blip, the engine-badge of the trusted old BWM R100S air-cooled boxer that I am restoring. Still a lot of work and I am not in a hurry. Acquired it last year as a non-runner that was in a shed for over eight years. It now starts perfectly, idles smoothly and runs powerful. But...the brakes have to be completely overhauled, the steering head bearings are shot, the suspension needs a once-over, the electrics need to be taken care of and then the optical side of things will need addressing. 

Luckily, I also have an oil-cooled BMW boxer that is ready to go!
