Kaimes and Dalmahoy Hill

Very breezy day, so I opt for a short bike ride. I cycle through Colinton to the Lanark Rd, which I follow out of Edinburgh through Currie and Balerno in to West Lothian. Its a bit tough cycling in to the wind, and it takes some time to get to my turning point of Dryden Rd. A nice long descent down to Kirknewton, and then a loop around East Calder and back to Kirknewton. From there, I follow the Broad back to the A70, I turn odd the A70 to head through Glenbrook, where I took my main blip of Kaimes and Dalmahoy Hills.and then home through Balerno, Currie and Colinton.

The short ride can be seen at Relive here.

In the afternoon, it's down to Morningside again, this time for charity shop browsing, and coffee and cake. From Lothian Road, I got a great shot of the Saltire on the top of the Church of St. John at the west end of Princes St. It's still windy.
