'Our' Golden Hour Buzzard
We went for a walk at Parndon Water Meadows before going to Eastwick Animal Feeds to get Ollie dog some more James Wellbeloved.
I spotted our buzzard on one of its regular perches in a Cat Lane ash tree. Again, as happened the other day, it didn't fly until we got fairly close. It flew onto a telegraph pole and I got some images but the aspect was wrong. Then it flapped lazily to a bush where it was catching the golden hour sunshine beautifully. It stayed long enough for us to loop back by the ford and get the above. What a difference decent light makes. Soon afterwards we shot a similarly illuminated fieldfare. :)
