Buying, Gambian style

We visited Ray at his market stall, where 2 years previously he had sold Mum & Derek their enormous ‘Charlie’ (wooden crocodile). I bought Bertie a mahogany chair carved with elephants (suitable for my little tubs!). Buying involved seats for everyone & playing a board game moving little wooden balls around..then the bartering began!
