Scary Or What !

Well I'm not a big fan of Bob Crow and I am not in his union but on this occasion I agree with this as the RMT published this photo recently of a section of track south of York you may have to go large with the picture to read it though but doesn't inspire me much when you see stuff like this taking four days to replace especially when I drive over this section of line but all onboard staff will report any areas that are unusually rough or when you feel a hard thump immediately to the signaller to have it checked especially after The Hatfield disaster on that note regarding Hatfield at that time my wife Sandra worked for GNER back then and she was working the train right behind the one that derailed due to the rail crumbling that day so I am grateful for that as the catering coach took the brunt of that crash that day but still a shame that other people lost there lives as always I do my best to inform and try and keep my passengers safe and will be ever vigilant in my reporting of track defects especially as the cold weather can have an effect on the railhead as well
