Winter sky after sunset

I got so into my fair isle knitting that I didn’t have time to have lunch before walking down to Marianne’s so that we could walk up to the other side of the village for book group at Joan’s.

She started by apologising for choosing the Booker prize winner Milkman. Most had trouble finishing it but Marianne and I felt we got a lot out of it. It certainly is a book that stays with us we all agreed.

This was my view as I turned round on the front step on returning home.
