Heat and Lilies

Back Blip from Akaroa

I arrived in Akaroa around lunch time. The roads were sure busy with lots of traffic going and coming back from Akaroa. So it was a slow journey.

When I got out of my car in Akaroa I thought I had gone into a oven. The temperature on the gauge which is out of the sun read 37c. It was just too hot for me. About hour later the wind changed and it cooled down to 24c really fast. That suited me!

My lilies were making a wonderful display and had grown so tall. Great I was able to see them at their best.
