A sad farewell to Lady F this morning as I boarded the bus to St Andrews, complete with bulging suitcase!  It has been a wonderful few days, completely relaxing and we have had such a great time. So much to talk about, to see and do and to eat and drink!

Lovely to be back In the East Neuk with Shelagh and the next stage of my break. Very chilly, but we managed a woodland walk after lunch, while we caught up with each other's news. Super views as the sun went down. I do enjoy being here, in some ways it is like coming home, I know the area and Shelagh's house so well. I am lucky to have such good friends.

Mike is still looking at interesting rocks and geological structures on the even chiller north coast. He is a hardy chap!
