Carving

After a trip to the opticians - I now need reading glasses - we took the dog for a good walk taking in the local park. There is already a tree stump with a carving of a phoenix on the top, and now a beautiful one of an owl with two baby owls nestled in the trunk.

Charlotte was in a domesticated mood - she made my lunch, baked a cake and then made curry (out of a jar) for tea!
