New Boss

Sunday arrived with a heavy feeling.  ACK!  Last day of break.  Say it isn't so! 

We had much to do to get ready for the coming week, so we tackled that early.  We fed the cows early.....and gosh isn't that a muddy job.  BLECH!  They really can make a mess around their feeder.  We have to figure something out for next year, so it is easier. 

Took a photo of the yard boss, Opal.  She really took that position when Amber died, but not every hen agreed.  It appears they are all on the same page now though.  Pecking order established.
