Draped....

....with ice. This looks to me as if someone laid a piece of sheer, fringed fabric over this rock, & the "fabric"  just settled itself beautifully to conform to the shape of the rock. Lots of different ice shapes forming along the edges of the stream too. I stopped here on my way home after church this morning, thinking it would be pretty deserted, but in spite of the cold there were lots of people with dogs out walking! I actually had to wait to get on the path that goes along the edge of the water: 2 adults, three children and 2 dogs got there just ahead of me! A happy, boisterous  group that made me smile!!  :))
