A bird walk this morning. Weather was much wetter than forecast, which put a literal dampner on things, & meant we all felt the cold. Lots of geese, including large-ish groups of pink footed geese, & quite a few barnacle geese.

I saw three rock pipits at the shore, and a pair of purple sanderlings.

A good chat with my brother this afternoon...he wants to get me a birthday present, so I said I'd like a pair of mittens.

Dancing this evening should be warming, and mean that I can put my hot water bottle down ;)
