CINEMAS

Went to the movies after work. I watched "A Star Is Born" starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and felt it was okay.

This is the gate to the auditoriums, where the ticket is checked. I suppose the use of the word, cinemas, would look a bit odd and it would be replaced by auditoriums, but, as a non native speaker of English, I'm not quite sure. Anyway the word, cinema, must be more familiar to us as, unlike auditorium, it's also used in Japanese.

I have an entry on 2 June 2015 where I mention I would often go to the movies in Britain (as extras I also posted a few signs captured in the theatre but I am not able to see them since my journal isn't upgraded).
