Locked in !!

On my morning walk I came across these two smiling characters. They were literally locked in the lock, their propeller had stopped turning. Their smiles were the result of removing the string and reeds from around the prop shaft so they could move forward again, nice to meet cheerful folk on a grey January day.

Just noticed,  it is the 13th.
