Borrowdale Valley

A day of serenity in beautiful Borrowdale, just hubby and I and the dogs.

Travelling home was slightly less peaceful as A69 was closed for a few hours due to a serious accident. Two-way heavy traffic was squeezed down an alternative narrow country lane and police had to intervene a few times due to bigger vehicles getting stuck. Never mind, inconvenience of a few extra hours for travellers pales into insignificance when you consider the people involved in the accident.
