2019 Thursday — Overlooking Estero Bay

There’s definitely too much moisture in the air and this photo reveals that.

We were on a road that was new to us.
We started our day of exploring by having breakfast at the Inn of Morro Bay. It’s a lovely place on the back bay.

We were out exploring and drove toward San Luis Obispo where we discovered Prefumo Canyon Road which lead us to See Canyon Road.

At the summit we found this view looking north which is all of Estero Bay on the Pacific Ocean, which includes Morro Rock, Morro Bay, the PG&E stacks, the communities of Los Osos and Morro Bay, and on the right side of the photo, the little community of Cayucos.

The road led us south to the next big bay which is San Luis Bay and the community of Avila Beach.

Sometimes it’s fun just to go exploring.
