Texas Gold!!

In a world of rising oil prices, this is it...the new Texas gold. Apparently it is FDA approved...how would you test?

Anyway horse breeding aside, a really great day. I managed to sleep till 5.50 am (a record 10 hours!!!) and it really showed. Great day at the office with followed by an even better evening. Visited the ranch owned by one of my colleagues here, their garage is bigger than my house! Set in a quiet location, with farmland beyond their 3 acre plot, just very pleasant.

Highlight of the day was dinner, a step change from the usual restraurants that are frequented when I visit....a Texas BBQ Joint. Yep Clarks's Outpost, a proper hole in the wall, filled with locals at lunchtime and really great food. One tip though, they are really keen on Lamb Fries, I was forewarned....they really out to teach this stuff in geography at school you know!
