There’s no doubt about it...blipland is heartland and your warm good wishes for my creaky old spine have done the trick . I’m touched and planning to brave the lake for a brief swim in half an hour.
The other local needing restoration is the pew under the poplar tree down by the lake edge. Rather a lot of rot ,so Ian the neighbour who rallies the bay with their vino each evening has it in his workshop ( Mitre 12) and has it stripped down to basics , replacing timber as needed before giving it a new coat of polyurethane.
