Chester FC 1 Guiseley 1

This week it was the opposition's turn to finish with 10 men as former Chester player Andy Halls was sent off for a lunging tackle on Gary Roberts when Guiseley were winning 1-0. Chester equalised in the 2nd half and really should have won but my pre-match score prediction was right again.

The photo shows Bernard Morley, one of Chester's joint managers being interviewed after the game. He may be familiar to football fans as, with the other manager Anthony Johnson, he was formally in charge at Salford City. They both featured in a series of documentaries about Salford and their rise up the non-league pyramid under the ownership of former Manchester United players Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and the Neville brothers. 

It is always interesting to hear what the manager says and his opinion matched how I saw the game.
